I bet no one in America knew what the Gilbert kid was feeling inside more than Vandenberg tonight.
I realize the stages were a tad different- coming into a game against NW versus a national title game.
but Vandenberg had to be sitting back thinking, wow- I kind of know what is going through that kids body and head right now!
What a tough spot to come in. Can't imagine how nervous that kid had to feel.
he did some nice things in the 2nd half- that was good to see for the kid.
