UW @ Creighton

Creighton up 11 with 6:30 to go. I'm really impressed with Creighton. Really quick PG, scoring SG, and legit big man surrounded by shooters.

They do an awesome job of doubling the post. We will see the same from Virginia. I wish Fran could teach this.

I was at that game - Creighton is really good - Wisconsin looked like Wisconsin looks lately in the OOC in previous years. They shot 28 3's - didn't work at all to get the ball into the post (CU has a Freshman C that's 7'1" who's legit). I came away pretty impressed with Creighton - might be McDermott's best team - and came away very unimpressed with Wisci - but it's the 2nd game of the season for everyone - they'll get it together.

Creighton does look really good. Fun to watch and excellent fan support at the game. The tall freshman has very good moves around the basket.....

I remember Creighton with Doug McDermott destroying VIllanova in Philadelphia a while ago.....

One thing that totally disrupted Wisci was how CU doubled in the post - Sconnie didn't have an answer for it and truly looked like a team with out a front court. Hayes played almost exclusively on the perimeter and Happ was a non factor. I really don't see how they can be the B1G favorite after seeing that, but at the same time I think CU is gonna spend a lot of the season in the top 10

Yeah Patton is pretty impressive. He was a big recruit out of Omaha that stayed home. Creighton offered him early before he blew up and looked to be a smart decision

It usually takes a year or so until you can really tell if a new coach is going to be successful or not. Ryan has been gone for awhile and the new coach might end up being successful. Anyway, they are without Ryan this year.
