What is his problem? Why is he afraid to shoot the damn ball? He is our best player besides White. In order for this team to win against good competition he needs to look for his shot and stop being a non factor. He can do alot with the ball, draw defenders ,put it on the floor and give out assists. If he is open,he must shoot the ball instead of passing it...unless its to someone open for an assist.

I hope that Trey can get up to speed quickly and Fran plays him a ton in nonconference so he's ready to go for the BIG. I have lost confidence in Gessel. He is a shooting guard that is too short and can't shoot. So what do you do with him other to play a few minutes to give the starters a blow?

This was my knock on him coming out of high school. I thought he played soft then and i am disappointed to see little has changed. I had high hopes for him to toughen up over the summer. I have not seen that yet.

What made you think that this was the year that he would toughen up??

He's a junior and had the extra year... He'll continue to improve but if your expecting a tough player... that's just not him, never has be and never will be.

I don't want or expect toughness. I just want him to be aggressive. Take the shots when he has the looks.

this was encouraging. He really needs to be a twenty point a night player for us. If he has an open shot.He must take it. He's a great shooter. Shoot!!

20 point a night is not realistic. 15-7 in conference is what we need. I think he has that level of talent.
