USC looking like a punching bag tonight

Zags are having their way, no doubt. And yes, what kind of statement does Krispert send here? I'm a homo that plays b-ball? Sorry if that offends people, but there's no place for that shit.

After watching the first two Gonzaga games of the season to compare them
to the Hawkeyes

I casually mentioned that they were one of the best college basketball teams I had
ever seen, and that they would win the National Championship

Compared them to the 2016/18 Villanova National Champions

If they do win the Championship, they will probably have to defeat the Number
Two and Three ranked teams in the Tournament and also in the National Rankings

Easy to despise them, but the professional quality of their game is fun to watch.

So either Oregon is way better than Iowa, USU is way better than Oregon, and Gonzaga is way better than USC, or basketball has a ton of day to day randomness and you can't take away anything from one game.

On a side note, it sure seems like some programs are randomly blessed. UCLA sucks balls this year, yet they somehow do something Iowa hasn't done in 35 years. Syracuse sucks all the time now and somehow wins in the tournament. It's hard to give credit to their coach when they suck all season. Some people are randomly more lucky at the casino. It would make sense that the same thing applies to some programs are lucky too.

Luck, bad luck, good draws, bad draws.....all a factor.

We could argue Iowa got a very bad beat this year. They got screwed on the flop or turn (play a potential major conference champ in your 2nd game when you are a 2 seed and you would not normally get a team like that until later on in the tournament) and on the river (you do play them without them even having to play a first round game).

Down goes Michigan. As good as Wagner had been all year he was a no show in this game. To top it off, coach of the year ,Howard draws up the final 2 shots for Wagner. He aired balled the first one and Howard went back to him for the final shot. I would have got Brown a crack at that final shot.

Michigan is now the 4th team that wishes MSU hadn’t choked when they had UCLA beat. This also supports what PC has said multiple times about randomness, etc. UCLA should have lost to MSU. And most would have said we knew they shouldn’t be dancing. And now they’ve won 4 in a row since that 1st win and proved they more than belong.

Nothing, I was just being flip. And I probably shouldn't have said that. I just don't see any place for headbands. I'm from a completely era, almost Hoosier-esque, short hair, yes sir, no sir; that kind of thing. I'm sorry if it seemed out of line.

No it wasn't out of line really as I didn't know what you were talking about. I thought maybe the player grabbed another players crotch. Yep, people where their hair longer and sometimes they have to use headbands, skull caps, those big running bands. I dont care because that kind of stuff is nothing compared to the really bad shit so many people do like murder, stealing, cheating, etc etc

I realize times are always a changin', but it gives me more respect than ever for coaches like K and Izzo and Dean Smith, who got to the final four eight, ten, perhaps twelve times.

It is difficult to get there once, as this year has proven once again. With the exception of Gonzaga, the other teams have found a way to win at least one game they should have lost. Hell, UCLA has won at least three they should have lost (MSU, Alabama, Michigan).
