Upcoming opponent's games

I like to look in at games of upcoming opponents between chores on days like this when off week or hawks on the road.

If Indiana wins big on the road at Rutgers we might not even learn much except some IU personnel. If Indiana struggles then we might learn something. I will peek in.

Michigan and jNW and I will be interested to see how effective Thorson is as I have heard he is playing injured. Is the jNW Off line not getting the job done or are the refs calling them for all the holding they like to do. Does Patty Fitz still have a very good defense.

Purdue at Nebby gives a look at two future opponents. Will Nebby put together a whole game and which Purdue team shows up?

I didnt watch much of Mich St since we probably wont play them.

If Mich St is bad and harbaugh doesnt beat them then look out.

I did not learn much about Indiana except their QB can run, the run the zone read running game, and he throws the ball pretty well. I think the hawks may have their hands full vs IU and will need the offense to play well.

I have been watching both of these teams. So far I would give the edge to Purdue. They have a very good offense. Their young defense is getting better week to week. While I still feel Iowa will win this one, it won't be a pushover.

Nebraska's chances hang with Martinez. Without him they are pedestrian. Seems like he is getting healthy. Their defense is suspect and has worked their way up to mediocre. Of the two I think Nebraska is the easier game. And the fact that it's in Iowa City is going to make it easier.

Purdue is looking very good on offense. Not sure about Purdue's defense since Nebby's offense is up and down and not that strong it seems.

This Martinez kid for Nebby can pass the ball.

Michigan looks sluggish but much of that is due to jNW who are pumped up.

Man, IU, Purdue, and jNW are going to be tougher games than I thought.

With Father and Son calling the offense, they can give any opponent a shot when it is the typical conservative game plan.
