Yea we really looked sharper offensively. Stanley is throwing the deep ball well seems his problems are more with the shorter passes and accuracy although again he looked sharper. This clearly is not one of UNI's better teams. Really dont seem to have any top notch players on either side of the ball as they have had in the past (David Johnson)
but in the final analysis we dominated and thats all you can ask. In watching Wisconsin they also look to be down especially on the defensive side of the ball. If Stanley has a good game and we hold Taylor to 100 or less I like our chances

That said, his still Jaked a few passes, so the good news is he can still get better.

Less to do with him? UNI was awful, so I would say the exact opposite. No pressure, all day to scan the field, poor defensive backs for UNI. It had more to do with the lower level of competition, also how do you think our receivers were also all of a sudden able to get open? The lower level of competition. Lets see what happens next Saturday, and throughout the B1G season. My guess, back to the same old offense that is incompetent.

It has plenty to do with defensive schemes. Wisconsin's defense isn't nearly as good as they were last year, on the edges. The problem for Iowa is that we don't attack the edges very well on offense. I'm watching the BYU/Connie game right now and BYU is running a lot of jet sweeps and end arounds, to spread Connie out. Then they are getting good yardage on quick hitters up the middle. You and I both know that is not the offense we will run against Connie. We can beat them and I think we will. But it will be a low scoring, lack of offense type of win. 16-13 type of game.

He was going through his progression instead of locking on for dear life much better yesterday.

He also had plenty of time, at times, against ISU. He looked sharper yesterday.

The defense does look pretty good. They're going to have to be one of KF's very best defenses for Iowa to win 9 games this season. I think the offense is really going to continue to struggling scoring.

Look how poorly the other BIG West teams look. Right now, the only 2 possible losses I see are Connie and PSU. PSU is a guaranteed loss, unless they lose McSorely to injury. And maybe even then. If KF finds a way to lose to any of the other West teams, he should refund his entire 2018 salary.
