Uh Oh. The Browns fired their coach. APB!!

From a Browns insider. FTR, Lincoln Riley is his 1A:

Matt Campbell: This truly is the name to watch. Albert Breer was the first I found to put his name in play. After a few weeks of digging, The rumors are very strong he has already spoken with the Browns. Coach Campbell a native of Ohio is also a Baker Mayfield fan. I call him the upset king because no other coach has shown the ability to overcome with so little. A great offensive mind that will work well with everyone. The Browns would also be able to keep most of the coaching staff in place. This is a great selling point as Mr. Haslam wants to limit the amount of turnover. Everyone loves coach Campbell and he would fit well with this team. I personally have Campbell at my number 1B spot after all my research. If you’re a Browns fan and would like to see more. Start watching Iowa State football.

I'd be scared to coach in Cleveland. They go winless a season ago and keep their coach and then fire him 2 weeks from their bye when he's 2-5-1? I get firing him, but do it after he goes winless the previous season and you have an entire offseason to get things put in place. Then again there's a reason Cleveland continues to suck.

As a Browns fan, I can tell you that Hue Jackson was told he'd get more than 2 years. The new GM wanted him gone, but the owner said no. The GM was going to fire him at the end of the year unless a miracle happened. The firing came now because he and the OC were undermining each other and disrupting the team, which has the youngest roster in the league. He should have been gone a long time ago. Browns coaches and players referred to him as "You Jackson" because it was always "You" that lost the game for us.

Honestly with the talent that Cleveland has accrued they should be a playoff contender right now. Just make sure you get a players coach and you can keep all that young talent when they sign second contracts. Draft a WR, DL and OL in the first 3 rounds and winning seasons should be pretty easy.
