Two SERIOUS complaints

Okay, first complaint is a mind-bender:

1st half. Eric whatever-his-last-name-is says "You know the game is in good hands when you see Ed Hightower with the whistle in his mouth". Uh...it ain't a whistle I picture in Ed's mouth most times...

Second half: Hawks get jam from Basabe off nice drive-and-dish from Bryce. Go to timeout with 10:43 on clock. Back from timeout, Michigan draws reach-in foul, play whistled dead at 10:31. Go to ANOTHER timeout. WTH?!

If I recall correctly, Michigan called timeout to stop the Iowa run at 10:43. Then at the next dead ball they went to the under 12 minute tv timeout. I know it sucks but that's happened before and it'll happen again.

Par for the BTN. Prior to the Ohio State game, I'm reasonably certain in their graphic of the starting line-ups they used a white player's photo for Devyn Marble. I didn't catch whose photo it was before it went off the screen, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Devyn's.

I'll probably get blasted for this, but it doesn't really bother me to see Hightower at Iowa games. Sometimes he's overly dramatic when making the calls, but I actually think his calls are correct most of the time.
 
Agree with FCAS.....in fact, I will say this.........I think Ed Hightower is a better Referee than many that show up at CHA. Those 3 clowns at last week's OSU game can stay away.

You are right Tweeter. I saw this before the MSU game, was at the game yesterday so I didnt see if they did it again. It was definately some white guy that was not Marble, but I have no idea who it was.
Jim Jackson irritated in the MSU, he said and I quote "well it doesnt get any easier for Iowa after this game. They have Michigan at home in their next game." Thanksfor the worthless comment Jim. If you dont think playing Mich (who is ranked lower and behind MSU in the B1G standings) at home is easier than playing MSU in East Lansing, then I'm sorry but you dont know squat about college hoops then.

you could fillet the fish and and bake them with oregano and use lemon juice. i suggest tilpia fish or walleye. give you some culinary arts idea.;)

He is usually very inconsistent with his calls IMO.

Also at key times in the game he often feels the need to make a spectacle by overruling someone or making an obscure call from the other end of the court. Clearly these calls are almost always incorrect or unnecessary and are all about Ed.

You should never notice a good official.
 
Well if we are going to get serious....I fricken hate it when you order fish and chips and they bring out a soggy battered mess. I want the outside of the batter to be crunchy. Also if you bring me a little speck of sauce then I might throw it at you.

Freshwater fish suck - give me Mahi Mahi, grouper, or Wahoo any day over those.

Out here if you call catfish or tilapia "seafood" you might get shot
