TV options, times remain open for Iowa-Nebraska football game

Give me a 2:30 kickoff as a 10-1 Iowa squares off vs a 10-1 Nebby for the Big Ten West title.

2:30 would be awsome. 2 nd half would be a night game that time of year. If we want to keep this time slot we need a meaningful and competitive game for the next few years.

This would be awesome scenario and then when the hawks win it to go to 11-1 all the fans say "See you in Indy" to all the doubters.

^^^This!

I'm hoping to make it to IC for this one. Talked to a friend last night who thinks he has a hook up on some tickets. It'd be a lot of fun, hopefully.

Based on the article, a 2:30 kickoff means West Coast viewers won't get the Iowa game. Would the game be aired on one of DirecTV's ESPN Alternate channels?

It's going to be an 11:00 game. Why do I know that? Because if it's at 11:00 I won't be able to watch it and my luck blows with such things.

Nebraska games the day after Thanksgiving, are almost always locked in the 11am time slot.
...but I would love a 2:30pm game with the Musco lights.

You can always get a ticket before the game. You should come to IC, you will have a great time.

If Neb and Iowa are both 10-1 up to that game, then we will have clinched at least a share already, with Neb having dropped a conf game and Iowa being undefeated in Conf. This is assuming Minneygoofer has lost at least one, which they will once they swoon out their last 4 conf games.

Share? Share? We don't need no stinkin' share.

Only one team can go to Indianapolis.

If we're 10-1, we'll have handed Minnesota a loss. Same with Neb at 10-1.

Iowa would still have to win to go to Indy. If the Huskers win and both are 10-1, Nebraska holds the head to head tiebreaker.

Love to. I would and pick one up on the street, but I need to talk a friend or two into going. With the holiday and whatnot, families, etc. it's getting harder to make that drive or get away overnight.

Some friends are kicking around going to Evanston this weekend, which should be a good time. Just not sure that I can be away from home so much, but YOLO.

Well, if Iowa is undefeated in conference, they will have beaten Minnesota.

Evanston is almost never a good time.

Compared to Iowa City, it's like visiting a Soviet-style gulag.

Or Ames.

Read article, and hoping for 2:30 start time. Not sure why it cannot be 7pm, why is Big Ten against night games?
