Frustration over people leaving the program and the de-commits certainly rules the roost ( hawk's nest ) at the moment.

What we need at this very moment is someone who has rebuilt a program or two or maybe three.


Anybody look at McCaffery's resume........Maybe he's the man. You got to believe, trust, and get behind this hire. We will get to where we need to be if we are all pushing in the same direction.

Go Hawks !! Better days are ahead........patience.

Fran, Mac and Crean were all down in Burlington recruiting last night.

Right now we are at the bottom of the valley.

The Hawkeye Express is about to start the climb up the hill.

In the next couple of weeks we will learn of two new assistant coaches that will start to create some new found optimism.
One of those hires will most likely be a Hawkeye alum....feel good story.

Another one of the hires will be a grad assistant.....who knows maybe some one like Horner to give us a little adrenaline rush.

Then we are likely to hear about a couple of new recruits that we all might well get excited about............all of a sudden our current doom and gloom looks like a light at the end or the tunnel.

The good days are coming..........Just Believe !!!!

Not too sure, most of them are inner city kids and wouldnt mind having them on the team. IMO id rather have kids that played at rucker park and other places like that over AAU kids.

There is no reason not to trust Fran at this point. He's gotten the job done in the past. Count me as one who is optimistic and excited for the future.

Heck, I even put my deposit down on a season BB ticket. I've NEVER purchased a season BB ticket before and I've been a fan for over 40 years.
