That stinks. Our list of remaining targets is growing thin.. And it doesn't sound real promising with Harris and Katenda from what I've been hearing on these boards. Anybody know otherwise?

We're in Harris' final four, along with Providence, St. John's and NC State. We really need this kid, but I'm not holding my breath. Feels, no specific info, like he'll pick St. John's or Providence.
 
I really hope Fran and his guys can turn this around and actually be able to recruit big 10 talent. If not we are in trouble for quite a while...
 
I believe Katenda is going the prep school route for whatever reason. I think I heard that on the Hawkeye Huddle radio program.

I think he has already recruited Big Ten talent in Oglesby and White. Are they going to be 1st or 2nd team all Big Ten, probably not but they are Big Ten talent.
 
I am not sure why people are so down on Harris. i highly recommend following him on Twitter. he sounds like a bright young man and is being very diligent in his decision making process. he may not come to iowa, but i guarantee that he is seriously considering it.

I believe I heard somewhere that he had mono this summer and lost 20-30 pounds. If that is the case it would probably take all this year to regain the weight and who is recruiting him has probably dropped significantly. Again if all of this is accurate then prep school would be smart course.
 
Matta the Recruiting Machine strikes again. This guy is like a shark,never stops recruiting,always hungry for more players....sick of him.

Agreed. Hatred still burns more intense for Roy and Self. Unfortunately, until Iowa shows that it can at least compete in the Big 10 this will be a familiar scenario. I think Fran is the guy, but only time will tell.
