Tory Taylor Wins Ray Guy Award

Had the award existed in the 80s, how many times would Roby have won it? I hear stories, but I wasn't paying attention to college FB at that time (building forts and playing in sandboxes). Was he heads and shoulders above everyone else for multiple years?
 
I am so happy for him. Well deserved. Hope KF has plans for his replacement as I suspect punting will remain a key part of the KF formula until her retires. Maybe Woods needs a nice vacay to Australia?

The coaching staff is apparently working with Prokick Australia and the rumor is that they already have a guy and it just hasn't been announced yet.

Some old timers may accuse me of blasphemy here, but IMO Taylor better than Roby, mostly due to his placement ability. Roby could kick it a ton for sure, but as I recall Fry platooned a short kicker with Roby cause anything Roby kicked from 45 yds out was going in the end zone

If you are a kicker from Australia and you know little about the states and American football, why not replace the legend. Taylor is the best they have produced and will be getting paid millions over the next few years. We should be at the top of the list. What a strange niche to have to go to Australia to find a great punter. So odd.
 
I've been told they are getting another punter from Australia for next season

Was wondering when they let the Mediapolis kid get away to Georgia.
