Topic for you, Jon and Steve

Would the two of you explore the topic of super-conferences? Personally I feel they would be harmful for college football long term. I'm satisfied with conferences of 10 to 12 teams. The Big Ten Conference is much more than just an athletic conference. A Big Ten degree carries a lot of cache. It is because the Universities share the same values.

To me the Big Ten, ACC, and Pac 12 represent both academic and athletic values. To me the other conferences exist purely for athletics. I see no need to get in competition with the SEC to brag about national football titles when it would diminish the value of Big Ten membership.

This topic requires some serious downstream thinking.
