too much time off

lack of mental sharpness.... missing open jump shots in a faster game speed.

It's not good to have that much time off.

Except that Badgr didnt play since last weekend, either.

Less to do with time off. LOTS more to do with 4th or 5th best team in B10 getting beat by 2nd or 3rd best team in B10.

That + notoriously bad personnel coaching + a team that is allowed to lose focus cuz its coach struggles to instill mental toughness against outside distractions = doing less with more.

In my mind, I consider this an Indiana victory. And the Hoosiers have a chance to do it to the Hawks again on Thursday. Barta should have been on the phone to Delaney IMMEDIATELY after Glass "politely refused" to play Iowa on Wednesday this past week. Now Iowa is thrown off-kilter and this could seriously hurt them. Hope I'm wrong. I'm trying to stay upbeat and positive, but too many years of Hawkeye letdown are tough to overcome consistently! I've been pretty good so far this season after losses, but for some reason after today's loss, doubt has begun to creep into my thoughts.

Not factual...see post above. We are soft...and have some of the strangest substituting patterns in Division I basketball. See Mike Gessel with 22 minutes.
