Craig Neal, Iowa State and Steve Alford all win their conference tournaments......then to top it off Bowlsby gives the championship trophy to the clowns. Selection Sunday can't get here soon enough......

We would lose every game in the mean time.
We lose to freakin' NW for cripes sakes......WTFE.
 
Good for ISU, I dont cheer for them that much but they have played great the last month with not as deep of a team
 
Don't care about Alford...his team won't get far in the NCAA. Neal is a cheat, so also don' care.

I certainly don't care about ISU. So they won the Big12 tournament. Goody for them. So of all the sport anyone cares about....football, basketball and wrestling, ISU is a little better in one. Men's BB. Women's BB? No. Wrestling? Nope. Football? When you have to have staged videos to celebrate a 3 win season.....
 
Don't forget a former assistant, Brian Jones, played for the conference championship with North Dakota, too. They got beat, though. As far as the clowns go, meh, they have a history of kicking themselves in the junk when they do well in the conference tourney. #Hampton.
 
When I start worrying about success other teams are having I will have officially become no better than the typical Iowa State fan. I cheer for Iowa. I don't care what any of those other teams, coaches, people, fans, etc. do or don't do.

I don't remember hearing anything harsh about Neal until the last year or so, and only on these boards.

Why do you think that and has there ever been any evidence to suggest it? I'm willing to listen.

There were rumors swirling about while he was at Iowa. I have no evidence, so I should probably retract what I said.

I'm pretty sure they lost in the 1st round of the conference tourney the same year they lost to Hampton.
 
IIRC, there were some connections to less than reputable AAU clubs after Neal came along. I think it was Jon that had hinted as much.
