Don't get me wrong, i understand complaining about what we did wrong on a gameday is indeed something to be discussed. I want to get over to the overall of this game and just talk about today.
While I went against my best judement, I picked us today thinking that this Iowa team wanted to show something on the road. They did. I was worried about Vandy like most, but he showed up, and McNutt was great (for the most part, I think it's safe to say that McNutt would admit he dropped some easy ones today).
We win today and are on to Nebby.Yes, we could have been up by almost 30 points in the 1st, but we fought back and continued to play like we thought we could.
Granted against our "rival", but the D line did a very good job today. McNutt went off. Vandy completed passes into and against the wind. Coker ran well.
We could have folded, but didn't.
