I am sure this has been talked about over and over again since Saturday, however I am not going to go through all of the whiney posts and I would like to say a few things.
I was disappointed as well about the loss Saturday, everyone was/is. But for you fair weather Hawk Fans that want to rant on and on about How Kirk is a terrible coach and how Stanzi was horrible for the last few seconds of the game or how we will lose this game or that game because of this or that is ridiculous. I believe every week we will win.
Let's not forget that this is College Football, these young men are NOT getting paid for their performance and they are human and whether you or I want to believe it or not, Stanzi is still a young man who is ENTITLED to mistakes, AND KIRK is just a person and a coach doing his job the best way he knows how. Lets face it, if you mess up at work does he come and talk **** about you??? I realize this is on a different level but we are all human and there is room for error, but i wonder about some of you here who obviously are perfect in your own minds?
Now I did read through some of the things said here and some make sense and some people just ask WAY too much of these young athletes. They make the ultimate sacrifice every week for all of us, they not only go to classes all week, but they do practices and then on any given Saturday they go out there and they bust their ***** for ALL OF US! They give it their all, through injuries, stress and pressure.. They get out there every week... show them a little respect when you trash talk them for a missed catch or throw... how about "it was a nice try, youll get it next time?"
I for one would like to thank Our team, coaches and Staff for all of the work they put into each Saturday we have a chance to see these young TALENTED athletes put on a show for US to enjoy. Sometimes we lose and if we are lucky and well prepared we get to see that win....
Time to move past last week and look forward to MSU.. I will be there in our seats rooting for the OUR team, win or lose.
