I want to give you a big thumbs up on the summary you posted today on the spring game. In addition, the work you have done on articles, including opening a whole new chapter in the Hawkeye Nation book with your recruiting coverage, has taken this site to a new level. I check out HN daily and although I don't post often, I wanted to take a moment to congratulate you on a job well done! And, thank you, Jon Miller, for the decision to add Rob as a partner.

Thanks so much for the kind words. It's a labor of love. This will be my 20th season covering the Hawkeyes and it seems like I just started. My gray hair tells me differently. :)

I'll second that. Rob's been doing a great job!
Jon made a wonderful decision.

When Rob and I parted in 2009, when I took HN independent and from Scout, it was our desire that we'd put the band back together one day. It just happened to work out this winter, and like many of you, I could not be more pleased with this reunion ;)

I know more about Hawkeye recruiting than I ever have, thanks to Rob. Not sure that's a good thing though. Usually I'm better off not knowing. Should a middle aged man care what school an 18 year old kid goes to? Or doesn't go to:mad:.

I agree, it's nice to go to once place to get everything I'm looking for Hawkeye related.

all of the coverage on Hawkeye Nation is terrific. It is a very entertaining, informative site, but even more so when the Hawkeyes are fielding an exciting, winning team. Fingers crossed for another great season in 2016!
