It's very tempting to make too much out of the game tomorrow...

But in a season where we clearly won't be playing in the postseason, I look at tomorrow as a semifinal game.

For if we win, and beat Drake, we will be the virtual state champions!

When was the last time we went undefeated against our state rivals?

Anyhow, I'm having a lot of fun watching this team this season.

I don't know, it's been awhile, but it is a crown I'd wear proudly.

It is always a nice feeling to know you own bragging rights over your in-state rivals for a year.

That's kind of the way I look at it. Win the state championship, and it should help with in-state recruits. We need to be THE program in the state once again.

Become relevant in-state, and then work on becoming relevant in the Big Ten and nationally.

First thing's first, gotta start beating the UNI's, Drake's and ISU's of the world. 1 down, two to go.

There are some ridiculous ones on both sides. But some that are pretty decent on both sides, too.
