Iowa played poorly, no doubt, but the Iowa announcers made it sound like the refs were calling this one Iowa/Florida 2006 outback bowl style. Was it THAT one sided?

I was at the game, the first half when Drake went on their "run" seemed a little one-side. Other than that it wasn't the worst i have seen.

They were just determined to control the pace of the game. Very little flow because of the whistles. They called a lot of touch/body stuff on Iowa 18 ft. from the basket.

it seemed like early in the 2nd half, Iowa was fouling drake A LOT with very little time left on the shot clock. Just wonder if those were ticky tack or actual fouls, most of the time they'll let 'em play when the shot clock gets low unless it really needs to be called.

There were several times in the second half where the Hawks would play 30 seconds of great defense and then get a foul as Drake tried to go to the hoop.

I don't remember any of them really being questionable calls at that time. Iowa was just a bit late helping out on defense on a few of the calls or just didn't quite slide in quick enough as the Dreake player went by.

This is correct. From about the 12 minute mark of the 1st half, the game had no rhythm at all because of the constant whistles on both teams. Lot of ticky tack stuff.

That being said, they did swallow the whistles a bit in the second half.
