Football and now basketball teams so hard to take anymore....

Just when they have you at a low, ready to withdraw emotionally, they pick up a win or two, and get your hopes up. Then you start to invest again. Start to get a bit pumped. Then they play a schmuck team at home, and drop down their pants....

So sick of it. Man tonight was bad.

Welcome to sports. It's not just Iowa. Every invested fan gets let down by their team. The more the success the higher the expectations and greater the disappointment. Iowa is middle of the pack in both sports so that's an extra bumpy ride. Could be worse.
