I'm too stupid and too lazy to try and figure thus out. At what point does loss in season ticket sales exceed a salary buyout?

If you lost 5000 ticket sales (averaging $350 per season ticket + minimal $100 seating rights), you would have 2.25 million, not including concession sales, memorabilia sales, hotel/motel/restaraunt sales taxes for Iowa City. Also, per Forbes, there is a longevity clause kicking in next year. You just can't underestimate the cost of apathy that is engulfing the football program. Time for a change.
Sorry, but not a valid comparison. All of the ISU season ticket holders could fail to renew and still not equal the amount of money needed to oust KF.So, judging by the tweet in a previous thread, you'd need a little more than that to fire KF (221,875 * 12 = $2.6 million / year). I know a lot of people are upset now, but i'd be curious if that many actually don't renew. Many people say they won't renew, but then in the end do renew. We have the same "problem" at ISU. Every year, a segment of the fan base says they are upset with the coaches, players, etc and will not renew next year. I would venture about 95% of them end up renewing anyways.
