I'd really like to see us come out throwing the football on Saturday night. You have a Sr. QB who protects the football and makes great decisions. You know ISU is going to load the box...I hope we decide early to throw them out of it...and make them pay for that defense. That being said, it's possible they can load the box and it won't matter. I still say, let's lean on CJ early and let him make plays with his arm.
Also, if he's going to beat Mike Warren in the race for the Heisman, well, he's got to get some TD passes. It would also be nice if his guys would catch the ball in the end zone. I've never seen a QB so snakebit about guys getting in the end zone. Last year we must have had 7-8 pass plays end at the 1 yard line...and another 3-4 that were dropped in the end zone. There were two on Saturday too (Kittle / McCarron)...13-20 with three TDs is a much better day and CJ didn't get credit for it. A win is a win, but I'd like to see these guys help him out.
