Time to quit beating a dead horse

I think it is time to let the Petras discussion go. He is not a Division 1 quarterback and there really is no reason to keep bringing up his faults. I don't expect him to start next Saturday. If Ferentz has any sense left to override his ego he won't allow Petras to go out and be booed off the field. No young person should have to be put through booing from 70000.
Of course starting Padilla will not make a difference as he is a UNI level talent and maybe not that good. Labbas or whatever his name must be really bad

The offensive line is a train wreck. No way he survives another year

The biggest dead horse is Young Ferentz. He has NO idea how to put together an offense I suggested last week that he might "do the right thing" and quit at year end but probably not In addition to a very long year the Law suit hangs over Young Ferentz as one of the main characters. If that breaks wrong then maybe he will be gone

I have always been a Ferentz fan right up to the time he hired his son. Now I hope he retires. As I think Fryowa said recruiting is going to take a major hit especially at the skilled positions and I fear a lot will follow Charie's lead
