I am not sure if it is even possible with this squad, but my gut tells me it is, that and the taste of yesterday's loss is not sitting well with the players, but I feel it is time for Kirk and the boys to let loose with the close to the vest, settling to just slide by style of play and let it rip for the rest of the year. Offensively I think this team could be putting up some really big numbers and that could prove quite useful going down the stretch until the defense gets its kinks worked out. I just think it is time to start letting the horse out of the stable so to speak and start putting our foot on the opposing teams neck when we can. I know it is far from Captain Kirk's style, but we could still salvage a heck of an end to this season but I think it will take some eye opening games the rest of the way out to get where we would like to be. Like I said I don't know if it is possible especially against MSU and OSU, but we should be able to do it against Minny, NW and Indiana (yes I know that we usually struggle with NW and Indy) and not even give them the chance to believe they are even in the game with us. Go for the jugular and maybe it would even help the defense get the ship righted a little bit until they start laying the smack down on people and win out the rest of the season in style. Sorry for the rambling everyone. Just think we should go big the rest of the way and send a message. GO HAWKS!!
