Time of Posts?

When I look at the time of a post, it often makes no sense. Do everyone have to set his/her own time zone to get correct posting time?

Look at this page:

I am reading on Saturday morning and the latest post has a time of 4:02 this afternoon- five hours in my future! If I read my map right, the only place five hours ahead of Iowa are the Azores! What HN fan lives there?

In CPanel, under Settings & Options, select Edit Options, and scroll down through all the settings to the time zone option. It might be that yours defaulted to one that isn't accurate for your location.
Have fun!

Thanks, worked for me. Is there any way to set the forum default for everyone to CST since that is where the Hawkeyes roam?

If you are five hours ahead of me, could you watch a game and then post the results. I will place a bet BEFORE i watch the game (live) and make a killing.
