Forgive the sappiness here, folks, but I can't help feel a bit happy for Tim Johnson and the apparent success he's having as a broadcaster. I can remember (as I'm sure you all do) when he was only doing PBS broadcasts of the meets, and now he is doing the Big Ten Network and tonight he is on national television doing the biggest meet of the year. I hope this means bigger and better things for him...I think he's great at what he does.
Side note...could not be happier that David Taylor got stuck. He's really a special talent and I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor beat Jenkins the next nine times in a row, but it doesn't matter now!
