Three things that make Kf a good coach.

1. Norm Parker(His son Phil maybe the fourth)

2. Brad Banks

3. Shonn Greene

So if Kf can bring in a stud every year on offense to handle the workload and have great defense they yes KF is a good coach.

Phil is not his son, but has done a good job with the defense so far this year.

#2 is an interesting thought. The team was so successful with Banks at QB, but why has there not been any further recruitment of duel threat QBs since he left? I guess McNutt was supposed to be dual threat wasn't he? But we know where he ended up. Was Tate duel threat? I don't really think so, but I guess kind of.

I think JC6 was one of the top dual threat QB's in the 2005 class.

Tate, Manson, McCollum, Arvell Nelson, Marvin McNutt, Ricky Stanzi and AJ Derby.

Tate in my mind was a gunslinger thrower, not duel threat. Manson and McCollum were backup level offers. Nelson, who knows he made his own grave. McNutt we know they moved. They tried to move Derby and he left. I don't think Stanzi was duel threat at all. The only player I find similar to Banks was really McCollum.

You asked why Kirk hasn't recruited any dual threat QBs since Banks. I listed seven. If you don't want to accept reality, that is your problem.

And those are the guys we landed, doesn't include the failed attempts. Kirk and co. have been unable to develop dual threat QBs, but it hasn't been due to a lack of trying.
