Hats off to arizona. The cats took it to the hawks in every aspect. I guess what surprised me is how we just never even came out of the lockerroom. I thought these days were behind us. No, don't expect us to play lights out every game but did not expect to see any more of these performances where we just failed to show up. Yes we made the score respectible but arizona took it to us. Our running game was non existent. Our oline protection was embarrassing. Ending the game
with four sacks in a row-even with a senior qb. We just never made the right adjustments. It was ash all over again, except we did make a comeback. But the point being we should never have trailed 27-7. Iowa was not a top 25 tonight. And that is what is so disappointing. Arizona exposed our weaknesses. Our pass defense was surprisingly soft. Our olinemen had no clue how to handle the blitz. For three quarters we did nothing. And that is what sticks out to me. We never even got off the bus until the fourth quarter. I am not livid and thinking the sky is falling. Just disappointed because i thought those days were behind us. In reality arizona owned us and embarrassed us. Tomorrow is a new day and tonight hopefully made us realize how much work we still need to do. But don't want to take anythig away from arizona because the cats brought their "A" game. We can still have a great season. This performance was just a head scratched.
