This week's BIG 10 matchups; light schedule; who do you want to win the East and maybe face the hawks in Dec

But besides the big game in Iowa City are there some other games that we can hope for certain outcome?

Well we definitely want Mich to crush or just beat Nebby and Wisky to take down Illinois. An Illinois loss puts the final nail in their coffin and a nebby loss is pretty much the last nail getting ready to be driven.

Other than that I really do not care much about the outcomes of Maryland vs OSU and MSU vs Rutgers. But at the same time, if the hawks make it to the Big 10 Champ Game do we definitely not want to play OSU???? OSU seems to have the most talented roster. Maybe we do want Maryland to win. Whoever wins the East Div will have ran a really tough round robin gauntlet. I say keep winning MSU because if you can barely get by Nebby at home let's have you stick around for awhile to have a reason to keep winning over the other 3 top East teams.

Who would you want the hawks to face in the Big 10 Champ game?

Who do I want to win the east? That's easy. Maryland.

Who do I think will win the east?

Gotta be someone who will be undefeated in crossover play, because I think they're going to eat each other on that side. I know everyone is annointing OSU after their blowouts versus Akron and the mighty Rutgers, but Schiano hasn't had time to get his players in there, yet, and Ryan Day has a good one, but still a freshman that is going to play at a top 25 Michigan (possibly top 10) to end the year, and has to go on the road to a weird but dangerous Nebraska team that took Oklahoma to the wire. That's two 100,000 plus stadiums against him for the first time. I think Stroud loses one of those.

All in all, that leaves MSU or Mich, since I think Iowa wins Saturday, and of the two, Michigan has the run game to sustain this through November this year. Gotta go with Michigan, not because of them being the best team, but because the tiebreaker will break their way.

Huh, I hadn't looked at standings till just now. Four 2-0 teams in the East, but we're the only 2-0 in the West.

Also, kind of funny to be reminded everyone's only played 2 to 3 conference games. Feels like the season has been going on forever, but we're just getting started. Anything can still happen.

I would rather Wisconsin lose.

Maryland vs OSU - I'm rooting for Maryland to at least keep it close even though I don't think they've got any shot at pulling off an upset.

MSU vs Rutgers - I was about to hop on the Rutgers bandwagon but then OSU took them too the woodshed and knocked the piss out of them. I'm still rooting for them as I like turmoil.

Wisc vs Ill - I'm not sure I care who wins this game just as long as it's close. Maybe a small lean towards Illinois since adding another loss to Wisconsin's record is always a good thing.

Michigan vs Neb - Go Michigan, steamroll all over them assholes please!

I'd like to play Michigan or Michigan State. We match up well with those teams.

I guess we will find out about Penn State this Saturday.....

I do not want to play Ohio State. Too much speed

I would rather Wisconsin lose.

You know you probably are correct there. Illinois is going to lose some more games so it would be good to have Wisky 0-3 and really down in the dumps. Maybe even with a lot of pressure on the coaching staff to where they might play away from their nature.

I would so love to kick their ass twice in one season. But lets not get too far ahead of ourselves.

Definitely not getting ahead of myself putting Iowa in the Big 10 Champ game. It is more of a question of who do you think wins the East as well as who then might face Iowa in that game.

The East Div is really intriguing with the 4 2-0 teams, Mich and MSU playing well, while we knew OSU would be really good and PSU was supposed to be really pretty good. They might need tiebreakers to settle the East winner.

But like you say, wouldnt it be great to beat PSU this week and then again in early Dec. I doubt the hawks have every played the same team twice in one year before.

I think it would be fun to beat Michigan in the CCG. Just to watch Harbaugh and Michigan get deflated again. I could just see their egos running out a control if they finally get over that hump, and beat OSU to win the East. They will just naturally assume they will crush Iowa and go to the CFP, and then BOOM! IOWA takes that all away by crushing Michigan instead.

Ha, ha-ha-ha, ha-ha (trying to simulate an evil laugh)

After what they did to us last year!

Did you put money on Michigan at -3? The line has pretty much stayed there all week. Either Nebraska is getting too much credit or people think Michigan is overrated.

No, don't gamble much but even if I did I'm not sure I can ever trust putting my money on a Jim Harbaugh coached team. Michigan is liable to lay an egg no matter how bad Nebraska is.

Totally agree. Jim Harbaugh vs Scott Frost. Couple of flakes trying to relive their glory days.
