I just re-watched the game and I couldn't believe how calm all the players were after MSU scored. On the last drive the offense didn't panic at all. I realized why when Iowa called their last time out and they showed Ferentz on the side lines calmly clapping and encouraging them on, showing no panic what so ever.

This has been one hell of a season so far, with great things yet to come.

I agree, KF is certainly the glue that holds everything together. I am glad he doesn't get as rattled as I do sitting at home watching on TV. We are blessed to have him and the program he runs. He deserves all the $ he gets.

Very astute observation. His leadership ability/calmness under fire/character is a constant throughout his tenure and this team has a lot of players/leaders who totally have identified with that and it does show. Who would have predicted this offense's chances with under 2 minutes to go and no full complement of TO's to march straight down the field. Stanzi and all the offensive players looked poised and professional, no panic. Says a lot about the team.
