They had a chance to move the ball down field against AZ and the O-line fell apart. They had a chance to stop Wisky and let them go all the way down field to score and take the lead and also had a chance to score on offense to win but bad clock management. They almost let Indiana win on but luckily for the hawks Indiana dropped the ball in the endzone. They had a chance to stop NW from winning when they were up 17-7 in the 4th with 11 to go but give up 2 TD's and also had a chance to score on the last drive but because of drops and penalties they fail to do so.
It's almost as simple as that. This team isn't clutch like they were last year. Along with not being clutch Iowa has had a lot of mental mistakes this year.
