John Parr wrote and sang St Elmo's Fire (or Man in Motion) in the 80s. He felt it was time to dust it off and recraft it as an homage to Tim Tebow

What kills me the most about this is that it wasn't weird Al doing it...it was the actual author of the song...
 
First heard this on Murph and Andy on Tuesday and yesterday Jim Rome was on it for at least an hour. Think of all the other songs you could apply the Tebow theme to....

des moines station had a interview with this parr guy today. he's from England, just moved to America last year. Seemed pretty humbled by all the recent exposure himself. said if any proceeds came out of it, like 25% is going to the Tim Tebow Foundation.
