I'm going to bring up the 2011-12 Minnesota Golden Gopher basketball team for a moment.A team that went 6-12 in the Big Ten and struggled then went on a run into the NIT Championship Game only to get blown out by 24.

Next, I'm going to bring up your 2012-2013 Iowa Hawkeye Basketball team. A team that was in SOOOOO many close games and one good bounce away from the Big Dance. A team that battled and went 9-9 in the toughest conference in basketball. A team that went on a great NIT run only to get blown out in the Title Game by 20. See where I'm going here..

Now I'm going to bring up the 2012-2013 Minnesota team. A team that went 20-11 overall and 8-10 in conference play. A team that lost in the FIRST ROUND OF THE BTT to Illinois. This team MADE THE NCAA TOURNEY AS AN 11 SEED! Guess what...THEY BLEW OUT THE 6 SEED BY 20 POINTS. UCLA OF ALL TEAMS! They gave Florida a battle in the 2nd half but came up short

Now to this years SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointing Iowa Hawkeyes. A team we all bleed for and love with all our hearts, no matter if you are a troll or the best poster on here, we all have the same thing in common! This Iowa team beat the #1 team in the conference by 18 showing off their capabilities as a team but have left us confused heading into March. This team finished 20-11 overall and 9-9 in probably the toughest conference again in College Basketball. They will play someone Thursday and even if they lose (see last years Minnesota team) THEY ARE A LOCK FOR THE TOURNEY SO STFU ABOUT US NOT BEING IN).

Even if they lose Thursday, keep in mind we still have a chance to play such meaningful basketball..something zero of us die hard Iowa fans have seen in 7+ years. We have a chance to play the way we are capable of playing(Michigan) and blow a team out of the water by 20(Minnesota last year who was 20-11 and 8-10 also losing in First Round of BTT). Then we will see who we can battle from there.

Devyn Marble blew up last postseason. This is going to be it for him. I don't see him just giving up without a fight. Nor do I see any of his teammates doing so either. This team has battled all year and as much as we are disappointed with these last 3 weeks, it's time to stand behind them more than ever.

God Bless You All Iowa Fans. Keep the faith. Forever and ever. Peace
