And, of course, personal fouls tell the tale. The Tigers were called for three more fouls that the Southern University Jaguars. Disgraceful.....

For reference: Southern is 1-9 against Division 1 opponents this year, averaging under 65 points per game in those 10 games. There are some high school girls teams that would run up the score on Champion Baptist.

It is hard to find any information on Champion Baptist, their website must have crashed from all the inquiries. The coach is the school president and senior pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church.

Our Senior Pastor

Tuition is only $1850 and they give scholarships for men and women's basketball, they also have a volleyball team. Grand total of 250 students, most of them must be athletics. I am sure whatever Southern paid them to play this game was badly needed.

I honestly think I could walk around my office and field a team that would score more than 12 points against that team. Perhaps while drunk.

I read somewhere that Champion Baptist's entire team was suspended for one game for violating school regulations and the athletic department decided, rather than forfeit ($), to play the game with the managers and regular students. If true, let this be a lesson to all you posters that love to criticize our players as if you could do better.
