Another great road win. 5 Ws in a row and 4 in 10 days. Fran has these guys playing some great ball heading in to the dance.
 
Just playing all around great bball, passing, shooting, defense, bounding, all of it. They have come so far in 5 years. And with players that some people on this board think are not very good. I poke at some players once in awhile , like my Woody thread today, but I think they are all good to above avg players.
 
Great job!! These Hawkeyes are coming on strong at the right time of the year. Let's beat the kittens and get on with the tourneys. GO HAWKS!!!! Get that double bye!
 
They are playing some really impressive basketball. At no point in tonights game did I feel like Iowa wasn't the much better team on the court.
 
This is a mentally tough basketball team.
Big change from last year. Their defense has been very, very solid
 
This team found their heart and it couldn't have come at a better time. What a total reversal from last season. Now let's finish the season strong and make a run in the BTT and NCAA's!
 
It's crazy how much better this team is now than it was in the non con. I would have bet $1000 that this team wasn't gonna make the NCAA's after that UNI game. 2 1/2 months later and we are getting solid guard play which I my opinion has been the difference for this team.

Also, Aaron White finding other ways to get buckets other than getting them in transition and at the free throw line. He is playing super aggressive on the offense end, looking for his shot.
 
Players are actually trusting in what they do best. Uuthoff is hitting turn around shots and threes. Gessel is hitting mid range jumpers or going to the home. Whitey is taking it when he needs to. Jok is hitting shots. Confidence
 
Embarrassed to say I thought they were done after the NW game. I knew there were plenty of games left, mentally I thought they were toast........Glad I was wrong.
 
Should be noted that Iowa has played the 4th toughest B10 schedule, easily the toughest of the upper tier teams. Wisconsin is 14th, Maryland 13th, Purdue 10th, Ohio St 12th and MSU 11th. Makes our record even more impressive.
