The Vanden Bosch twins, I'm guessing twins as they are both class of 2026, both tweeted today that they have received offers from Iowa. If my math is correct, they are entering their sophomore years in HS this fall. Below are their twitter profiles.

I would guess LeVar Woods, HS classmate of dad Kyle Vanden Bosch, played a key role in this. Both brothers already have offers from Nebraska, no surprise there, eh, and I've seen a picture of dad and sons standing on the Husker field all dressed out in their Big Red regalia. I would guess if the new Husker coach works out beating out the Big Red might be a tough order.

But, as we know, Kyle is a native Iowan and was almost a Hawkeye before the Huskers came in late and swept him away to Lincoln. Still, who knows where things will stand in 2-3 years when they will be making their college choices.

I know KVB from playing youth and high school sports (we're a year apart and played against each other in pretty much everything growing up), run into him from time to time at sporting events and some family events through mutual friends when he's back in the area/

He's the biggest nebraska homer you've ever met and for good reason. I can guarantee you these kids ain't coming to Iowa. They're husker people through and through. Unless those kids get so good that they get a bunch of blue blood offers, they're going to be living in Lincoln for four years coming up soon.

One thing I'm surprised with is for being freshmen in HS, how into lifting or as we used to call it pumping iron.

Bastian tweeted this out after informing of the Iowa offer:

I agree these kids are Huskers to be. Although, do twins ever split up????? Only hope is that Rule shits the bed and gets fired after 2 seasons. Don't see that happening. Absent a coaching change, these boys will get added into the Red abyss.

Not very many split. Those Hauser boys did after having been at Marquette initially in hoops. I'd be curious to know the last time a pair of stud twins went to separate schools out of HS too.
