While the season is very young, the list of unbeatens is shrinking. Lotta cream puffs and home games on everybody's schedule so don't read too much into this list. Also included are ranked teams within the conferences and their won/lost record.

After Iowa’s pathetic showing last season it’s not likely too many would have put money on Iowa being undefeated at this point.

Big game Tuesday night at Carver, Iowa (5-0) against the ACC's Pitt (6-0). Hawks could crack top 15 with a win.

Tons of reasonably priced tickets available on the ticket sites for those interested in attending.

We should move up at least a couple spots tomorrow. We'll have to beat Wisky on Friday to keep moving up after that.

Loyola Marymount probably hasn't started a season 6-0 since the Paul Westhead/Bo Kimble/Hank Gathers days.

Nevada has followed up their solid run in last year's NCAA'S with a strong start to this season. They are a matchup nightmare and much deeper than last year with all the transfers now eligible.

Both Nevada and Gonzaga are legit. Best 2 teams in the west because the PAC-12 is really down this year.

Nevada would make Oregon or UCLA look like they had spent forty minutes in the spin cycle of a washing machine. Their guards are too big and strong for many teams and Caroline is too quick for most bigs.

#14 Florida St lost to Villanova today and LSU lost again. I'm thinking we'll jump at least 3 spots tomorrow, maybe 4.
Sweet. #16, #17, #18 and #19 all lost this week also. We could end up at #15 before we play Pitt at Carver with those 5 teams ahead of us losing.

Well, don't get ahead of yourself. Let me do it for you. If we can win our next 4 games (Pitt, Wisky, Mich St, & Clownies), we could easily be ranked in the top 10. :D

I don't know how the Illini ever let Caroline get out of Champaign. He's a stud.

Our strength of schedule may be top 10 after that stretch also. I'd take 3-1.

After yesterday's games there are 27 teams left unbeaten.

Did some very deep, deep research on Pitt. [OK, got some info thru my emai-Fansided]. Many still pick Pitt to finish last in the ACC, but they do have some talented players, including several freshmen. In fact, the frosh are leading the team in several offensive categories [out of necessity. Pitt was last in most off. categories last year!] Athlon Sports declared s that Pitt. had the 6th best recruiting class of the 14 teams in the conf. and, if I'm not mistaken, 40th best in the nation. They are a guard-oriented team with some size [and speed].

This is a game Iowa should prolly win, but don't be surprised if Pitt gives us a challenge.
