Iowa lineman Dan Heiar charged with drunken driving | TheGazette

Looks like the police are going to stick an OWI charge to Heiar for the accident he had a few months back. It sounds like he will be taking his red-shirt year due to his injuries so I'm assuming a game or two suspension will be enforced at the beginning of the 2012 season?

I'll take it, last time an OL got into trouble with alcohol (Reiff) he developed into a great lineman and is still getting better, prior to that another man with last name of Calloway turned out pretty good too. I know this is no laughing matter and I apologize for poking fun.
