This is a veteran team. They have to feel demoralized. It seems to me that every time we are touted by the media to be extra special and compete not only for a Big 10 Championship but also be a NC contender. The years we are expected to be middle of the pack is when we seem to over achieve. I'm just plain sick to my stomach and this ruins my whole damn week.

This loss ruins my whole week as well, however we still have a chance to win 10 games and go to a nice bowl(possibly the rose). But, it is going to be a heck of a lot harder now.
You really think the Rose Bowl is still possible?

At this point, I just hope we finish ahead of Illinois. Given the softness in our zone defense, I wouldn't pencil in any of our remaining games other than MN a W just yet. We really miss Angerer and Edds on the D.

This team is not mentally tough enough and it has no kicker or special teams and soooner or later no running backs left.
