9.8 Yards per rush. Why pass the ball inside the red zone when the field becomes shorter and you are running the ball down their throat. He (KOK) sucks. Just admit it.

Didn't Ricky audible at least one of those 3 plays? That doesn't mean they weren't originally pass plays, but Ricky may have seen something he tried to take advantage of.

And once again we get into the red zone with the run game and the first call on 1st down from the 8 yrd line is a fade route. Then we run to the shortside of the field followed by another pass play. WTF?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Disagree- Stanzi put that ball in a place where only an Iowa WR could get it. Granted, it was out of reach- but I'd rather have that than an IU touchback.

I will NEVER understand that run into the short side of the field. Drives me f***ing nuts every time I see it..and it almost NEVER works.

The defense has less defenders on the short side. That's the theory, anyway. I don't necessarily agree with it.

Three times in the red zone and three times inside the 15 yard line. On all three series, we pass the ball twice and run the ball once (max). First series we throw it 3 times. Second series we throw it twice. Third series we throw it twice. Of those 7 pass attempts we had two (2) f'in completions for a total of 7 yards.
118 rushing yards in the first half. KOK is a complete moron. I've never in my life seen a worse OC try and lead a top 20 program for the length of time he's been at Iowa.

I will give KOK credit, he has done a good job this year but this game isn't exactly one of his better one's so far.
Seriously, last week up 37-6 we throw a WR reverse pass that probably would have been a good call on that first drive this week.
