Very interesting interview with RS. I am sure that KF would rather him keep his opinions to himself but an interesting look into Rick and his family. Strong comments about the "liberals" on campus.

Not knowing about an election and still voting is how we got our current president. You shouldnt vote if you dont know whats going on. Im sure like he said football and school take up a lot of time.

How about this...

You don't get a free pass on that statement. I want you to name one policy that Obama has passed through that has a direct impact on you. Not an idealogical disagreement, sometimes people you don't agree with win. I want a direct negative impact.

Basically your only choice is that you worked for Ford or you make north of $250,000 a year.

Otherwise your argument is idealogical and you can't say that the people that voted for Obama didn't know what is going on.

I've got one for you.....................Healthcare Bill

Not only do I want to keep healthcare the way it currently is, which we still give healthcare to those who need it but there isn't, currently, an idea that healthcare is a RIGHT. It is not a Right to have healthcare. Those of us who work for a living and make a modest income prefer to keep our own money and pay for our own healthcare. Yes, it is expensive but that isn't going to change with Universal or Government Run or whatever you want to call it healthcare. Do you think its really free??? HOW? Get a Grip, Obama ran on the platform of believe, progress and change. Give me one thing that is really better.

Lets not start this healthcare BS again...

Well, it is a fact that the vast majority of Obama voters were not very intelligent on US Policy and were simply voting for Obama for the wrong reasons. Not their fault as they believed they were doing the right thing. They didn't intentionally sabotage America, but the reality is... there should be some sort of basic proficiency test given before someone can legally vote. The most intelligent person in the world has an equal vote to a homeless bum living in Philadelphia under our current system.
Most Iowans were led to believe a vote for Obama would provide FREE Health care and higher unemployment checks as he was promising. I don't know whose idea of a good change that is? He stole the Bob the Builder childrens show slogan of "Yes We Can" because that was the education level he was aiming for. It did bring people out to the polls that you never would have seen before and a bunch of 18-24 year olds who wanted to prove they were right by making a difference.
People figured if they could just get off their butt one day and punch a ticket they would receive free checks and health care for the rest of their life. BOO.
I think the next Presidential Candidate needs to steal some of this strategy though. He needs to somewhat steal the slogan from Smokey the Bear. ONLY YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Get off your butt, get in shape, get a job, get an education, take care of yourself. Be a good citizen and quit expecting hand outs. Americans shouldn't be looking for handouts. Make a difference... do something for yourself besides vote for someone promising to give it to you.

Does it hurt when you talk out of your azz?

I figure if Obama can handle the pain of talking out his azz for years... I could handle it for a day.

Are you trying to deny that 18-24 year olds are not educated on US Policy when the vast majority couldn't point out Germany on a map?

Americans learned a valuable lesson since that election. The next time someone says... vote for me and I will give you a sucker, don't become one.

"vast majority" were your words, Greg. Sorry, but the voting statistics from '08 simply don't support your hyperbole.
I'm not trying to pick a fight, and I'm sorry I used the words I did in my previous post, but when you assert something that inflammatory, you should at least try to support it with facts. And I don't think you can, in this case.
