The Oregon domino effect

I know this been discussed somewhat previously; but with Minnesota, Gonzaga, and Texas A&M all losing recently, I'm wondering if there will be some activity soon that could impact our search. Also, how will the resignation of AD Mike Belotti affect the speed of their hire? Here are some of the domino effect scenarios I see as possibilities, based on alot of the talk lately.

Tubby Smith > Oregon = Ben Jacobson > Minnesota

Mark Turgeon > Oregon = Scott Drew or ??? > Texas A&M

Mark Few > Oregon = doesn't affect our search

I think coaches may be a little bit more leary of this job since there is no AD.
While not imperative, the fact the coach does not know who is boss will be may impact a coach choosing Oregon has an option

I have heard Mark Few is a done deal at Oregon, but don't have a lot of faith in my "source."

It makes a lot of sense. I think he's done everything he can do at Gonzaga and he either needs to move now or he will never move. Oregon would be one the prime spots for him to go...and the bank he's going to get.

As long as your source isn't a dentist - no reason to doubt it on an anonymous message board

He is a "sports writer" in the state, but he has been wrong before. I don't like to be the guy who pretends to know everything about everything. So take it for what it is worth. I wouldn't mind, as I have said before, just making it easy and hiring Ernie Kent, who Oregon just fired. Unfortunately, I have not heard his name at all.
