Been gone a long time. Where did this thought come from? I always thought that his dad was the reason he developed the way he did.

Well hopefully Luka didn't get a desire to screw people over from his Dad... It goes back aways but his Dad did do real time for it. Remember the 49ers/Lions coach Steve Marriuci? He was one of his victims. Can people turn new leaves? Maybe but I for one just won't give a person like that a 2nd chance to find out. Not with my $ involved I'm not.

Always can use a Fry perspective! My understanding of Luka's dad was that at one time he was a financial advisor, maybe in the Bay area, and lost a bunch of money for his clients. My understanding also was that he paid it all back. Other than that, I'm not sure of the details. Let the peacock fly........

Luka needs to get out of Minnestoa. Being backup to Rudy Gobert is not conducive to minutes He needs to go somewhere that needs 5s.

Kris has been given the opportunities in Portland, he started for a time, got plenty of minutes but his game just hasn't grown into a productive NBA game.

Hope he didn't pay them back with his son's money.

He wasn't a financial advisor, he was (is) a career criminal. He didn't lose people's money, he stole it. He stole it knowing they would never get their money back and hoped to cover it up as a "loss" in the market he was playing in. He's a low-rent Bernie Madoff who ruined people's lives. He continues to steal with his bullshit Conscious Selling "business." You wanna know why he's now stealing people's money with farcical consultant services? Because the SEC won't let him steal people's money selling stocks after his prison term. Lifetime ban.

There's a lot of things where the term "low-rent" is an insult, but being a low-rent Bernie Madoff implies not only being a criminal, but a really stupid, amateur criminal.
