The KC Chiefs just suck

I put this in the more college football type thread for all to see.

Jeezus, gave up the 2nd biggest comeback in NFL playoff history to a road team. They were ahead 21-3 at halftime and got shut out. They now have extended their home playoff losing streak to 6 or 7 games. Their defense sucks and I know losing Berry was a big blow but go out and make a trade for a top safety. And the whole defense cant tackle worth shit or dont want to tackle which is hard to believe or see when they get paid such big money.

I know they lost Hunt today but I didnt see Kelce at all in the 2nd half, maybe he got hurt also. But dropped passes, and sometimes Andy Reid is his own worst enemy with some very cute but suspect play calling like a third and one option play deep in your own territory when going straight at them is a better idea.

Oh well we will see who gets fired or traded etc. I would like to see them at least in a Super Bowl again.

Chiefs gonna Chief. Gave up on them long ago, along with the NFL at the same time.

well I have been rooting for them since about '64, they might have been the Dallas Texans then. it is just crazy how many times they have shot themselves int the foot

Don’t care......I am a Steeler fan. Everything goes through New England. Until the Steelers can crack the New England code.....None of this matters to me.

Not a shock. They were only a playoff team because their division was so bad this year.

And yeah, Kelce got a concussion late 1st half.

Kelce was hit in the head ( helmet to helmet ) never came back. Weirdest TD play I've seen in along time with Titans QB catching his own pass for a TD. KC just folded after that. Go Steelers!

Once Kelce went down the Chiefs couldn't do anything on offense. He was the complete x-factor.

Andy Reid is also the worst post-season coach in NFL history. So there's that too.

Um, Marty Schottenheimer (regular season .613 winning %, 5-13 in the playoffs - .278 winning %) has a bone to pick with you on Andy Reid (.604 winning % regular season, 11-13 in the playoffs). :)

You aren't wrong there...poor Marty

I had money on the Chiefs. At halftime I was already counting it as a win. Then I saw what KC couldn't do on offense without Kelce and I knew I was screwed.

I'm not sure how up 21-3 at half they decided they'd only call 5 running plays to Hunt in the 2nd half. Then again I think I heard that he only had 6 carries after the 12 minute mark of the 1st quarter. Amazingly going into the season they didn't think Alex Smith was their guy, yet decided to put the game in the hands of the quarterback the entire second half. By no means a shot at Smith, as he had a much better season than most thought he would, but the Chiefs always seem to find a way to disappoint.
