I am sorry, but in the last two posts I saw here I saw a reference to the "Alford Experiment" and the "Lickliter Experiment" and it is really a pet peeve of mine to see the word "Experiment" attached to a coaching tenure.
Guys get hired as a head coach. They may or may not work out. But one thing I know is IT ISN'T AN EXPERIMENT!!! They get hired and they get a contract just like any other coaching job in the country.
Fire away, but I had to get it off my chest.
