I sure didn't see that coming. In fact, I was certain just the opposite was about to happen. Despite all of the miscues and misfires in the first half, the Hawks were poised to win that game. It was almost as if they felt and played like they had won when Binns ran his pick back. There were enough missed assignments (by experienced players) in Arizona's last TD drive and Iowa's last (reverse) drive to last a season.
Positives - They didn't give up, and fought back into the game.
Negatives - There out there like a big zit on the end of your nose.
Future - I think they'll overcome all of this and have a very successful season - the Rose Bowl is still theirs for the taking, but tonight proves no one is going to hand it to them.
Go Hawks! 11-1 and see you in the Rose Bowl!
