The Focus Is On nebraska Now

With what we’ve got going on now, there’s very little chance we get a bowl game. Nevada, Rutgers, and Northwestern are maybes and that puts us at 4-7 going into nebraska if everything goes perfect.

We need to focus on nebraska and not losing to those wet blankets this year. They just lost at home to a Sun Belt team, and it looks like they’re in the same boat of ineptitude as we are.

We’re already an embarrassment. For GODS SAKE don’t let it get worse by losing to the only other team that’s a bigger embarrassment than we are. Phil Parker and LeVar need to do whatever they can to keep Brian, Kirk, and Petrass from fucking that game up.

I agree. As I was watching their game last night I was thinking that their offense can move the ball and can score points, but their defense is as bad as it gets and tried to convince myself that we can win. Can we score enough to keep up? Will we treat it like our bowl game and come out with our asses on fire? Will BF pull out all stops like he has in random games in the past? Will Frosty the Dipshit be coaching for his job (if he still has one) or will his players have quit by then?

I think Parker can stifle nebraska.

Also, remember that it’s the last game of the year and nebraska is typically riddled with injuries and worn out by the time that game rolls around.

With the exception of 02, losing to ISU means a 7-5 or worse season. I would like to be more optimistic but the offense is such a mess right now.

Frost's buyout drops from 15 million to 7 million October 1st, Nebraska will have an interim coach by the time they play Iowa.

Nevada is really bad, they will win it, but it won’t be pretty. Now the Rutgers game feels like a 50/50 one. 2 weeks ago I thought it was a W…not so sure anymore.

Texas A&M's offense has been similar to Iowa's by the way. Notre Dame has its struggles too. But iowa has been more consistently crappy in 2 games.

Yep, Nebraska and those others will take up a lot of media attention. at the same time I think there is a morbid curiosity with the Iowa offense

Well right now I think KF is going to have an unprecedented conversations with his staff. That alone is probably extremely difficult because its game week and game week routines reign supreme. By the way someone called BF 'Spaulding' which was a stroke of genius.

We complained all the way to the West title last year. I'm gonna just enjoy the team going forward and for the record I think we still win at least 7 games. The offensive looked better by a little. Kirk will not change QB's this year, end of story. I'm gonna root for Petras to get better, for the injured players to come back, and win a weak West division. I'm into the acceptance stage of my grieving process.
