... should give us a good read on this team. Seems that a teams personality is revealed within the first couple of games where tendancies, good and bad, start to become evident.

If Iowa blows out Eastern Illinois and beats Iowa State decisively and the Hawks look good doing it (no turnovers, few penalties, few or no busted assignments, no injuries) then Iowa could have a special year. If not, then it could be another good year but not what we are hoping for.

That is exactly it. We need to destroy Eastern Illannoy and beat ISU decisively, no excuses. ISU has the potential to be close, but only for a half. If we truely are a top 10 team, we should pull away for an easy victory. Especially at home.
If that does not happen, I would have to say it will be a 2 (+/- 1) loss season.

I'll go off the first 3. If Iowa can just bust up Eastern Ill, ISUx and Zona handedly. It's going to be a fun season to watch! It'll be nice to see all the players back healthy and playing together after the first couple games.
