The Day After

As bad as I am feeling this morning I cant imagine how difficult it is for McCaffrey. There is nothing worse than having your child experience a serious health issue and Im sure that ALL Iowa fans are rooting for him.
Unfortunately he is also experiencing one of the all time meltdowns in Iowa History. I say that because of the excitement and momentum we had at mid season. I dont think anyone could dispute that he took a team with experience and talent highly ranked to arguably the worst team in the Big Ten at year end. Dont know why? Cant blame it on injuries like Michigan State. Cant blame it on youth. As the coach you have to take credit.
For those that think we will be better next year and for those who think losing a first team all big ten like Marble wont hurt I have no idea how you come to those conclusions. Without Marble this year we are a deep second division team and I sure dont see any all big ten type talent on the way.
We will be appropriately picked to finish deep in the second division. Crowds will diminish and the momentum we could have had from this year will be gone. Thank God the Sun came up this morning I wasnt sure it would

Maybe back in January after getting ejected they had a come to jesus meeting with him about his temper. maybe he's on meds, maybe it made him lethargic
